Alessandra Redaelli
Visiting Professor
Born in Milan, she is a journalist, curator and art critic.
She curates contemporary art exhibitions both in public spaces (among her most recent events, the exhibition Corrispondenze, at the Museo Etrusco di Villa Giulia, Rome) and in private galleries, where she deals preferably with languages that combine contemporary sensitivity with the teachings of tradition.
She has taught Elements of Journalistic Communication and Information for Art at the IED Accademia Aldo Galli in Como, where she now teaches Creative Writing. As a journalist she collaborates with both specialised publications (Arte e Antiquariato, Cairo Editore; Espoarte; Arte In) and the general press, but always on art-related topics.
She has covered art fairs and has been a jury member in several contemporary art contests.
With Newton Compton she published the essays “Keep calm and learn to understand art”, 2015, “I segreti dell’arte moderna e contemporanea”, 2016, “10 cose da sapere sull’arte contemporanea”, 2018, and in 2017 the novel “Arte, amore e altri guai”.
