The<\/span> watercolor technique was already used during the<\/span> Renaissance to depict landscapes and create studies of plants and animals. In line with its commitment to\u00a0the<\/span> Renaissance workshop philosophy of preserving and updating\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0techniques that defined\u00a0the<\/span> great masters of that era,\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Milano Painting Academy is pleased to present\u00a0the<\/span> Contemporary Watercolor\u00a0Course<\/span>.<\/p>

Watercolor is experiencing a global resurgence today. Despite being a demanding medium, it has gained more popularity than any other painting technique. Therefore,\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Milano Painting<\/p>

The<\/span>\u00a0Basic\u00a0Course<\/span> in Contemporary Watercolor allows participants to learn essential techniques and steps to master\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0medium and create their first watercolor works.<\/p>

Throughout\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0course<\/span>, participants will learn about\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0materials needed for watercolor<\/strong>(pa per, brushes, colors), as well as the<\/span> techniques for handling water and pigment<\/strong>, including wet and dry washes, blending, glazing, and much more.<\/p>

The<\/span> program also includes practices in drawing, composition, tonalism, and color theory.<\/p>
