The Live Model and Space
Working from life with a model, we will explore the positions and dynamics of the body. The aim is not mere anatomical copying, but understanding how the figure occupies physical space — learning to convey on paper the relationships and tensions that bind things together.The Lesson of the Avant-Gardes

Each student will receive personal attention in analysing their own style, with the aim of making it more conscious and mature. This journey will develop through direct comparison with the drawings of modern and contemporary masters, chosen as sources of inspiration and study.Methodology and Training
During each lesson, a specific theme will be addressed. After a brief demonstration by the instructors, the lessons will focus on specific exercises, allowing students to put into practice what has been presented. Each theme covered will be gradually integrated with others, ensuring that by the end of the course, each student will have acquired specific skills that they can integrate to achieve the best results with the technique of expressive drawing.
Various types of materials will be used during the course, such as pencil, charcoal, sanguine, sepia, and various papers (white, black, craft, yellow). A live model will always be present.
Pietro Geranzani - Instructor
Pietro Geranzani was born in London in 1964.
He studied at the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa where he graduated with top marks with honors. He began his exhibition activity in the 1980s and participated in numerous personal and collective exhibitions in Italy, including the Venice Biennale, and abroad, in Germany, France, the United States, Switzerland, China.
His works appear in the collection of the MART and other Italian museums. He held workshops and seminars at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Conservatory of Music of Genoa, the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera a Milano.
