Expressive Drawing
This course has been carefully designed to guide students through a journey of exploration in expressive drawing. The course offers a wide range of topics and techniques, tailored to meet the learning needs of everyone, from beginners to more advanced artists.
Technique of Expressive Drawing
Expressive Drawing is an artistic technique that captures the essence and character of the
subject portrayed. This course will guide you in discovering materials and applying expressive
techniques in life drawing of the human figure. The course is designed to allow participants to
learn the fundamental techniques and steps necessary to master various mediums. It is aimed at both those with experience who want to solidify still-uncertain fundamental aspects and motivated absolute beginners eager to grow to their fullest potential.
Methodology and Training
During each lesson, a specific theme will be addressed. After a brief demonstration by the instructors, the lessons will focus on specific exercises, allowing students to put into practice what has been presented. Each theme covered will be gradually integrated with others, ensuring that by the end of the course, each student will have acquired specific skills that they can integrate to achieve the best results with the technique of expressive drawing.
Various types of materials will be used during the course, such as pencil, charcoal, sanguine, sepia, and various papers (white, black, craft, yellow). A live model will always be present.
