3D Composition Seminar – Building in Space

Designed to guide students in the transition from two-dimensional drawing to spatial image construction, this seminar introduces the main digital tools for 3D composition used to design complex scenes, lighting, and framing.

It acts as a bridge between tradition and contemporaneity, blending classical painting with the potential of three-dimensional visualization and digital software.

Through exercises and simulations, students will learn to:

  • design complex compositions,

  • manage light and perspective in 3D environments,

  • translate digital constructions into references for pictorial works.

Contemporary Art System Seminar

A theoretical-critical course aimed at understanding the dynamics of today’s art world.

The seminar provides concrete tools for navigating the exhibition and professional system:

  • galleries, museums, fairs, foundations,

  • key figures such as curators, critics, dealers, collectors,

  • strategies for promoting one’s own artistic work.

Lecture series
Representative methodology and structural analysis of form. The seminar is based on the methodology of drawing, intended as a fundamental tool for research, study and reflection on the perception and representation of natural form. The course aims to solicit a new grammar of “vision” and representation of the body. The order of proportions gives the human figure the necessary relationships through which it shapes the space of its relations, not as a collection of parts, but as a harmonic whole in which height, width and depth constitute a living and vital solid, which consists of an internal volume and an external morphology in relation to the pictorial surface. The reading of the human figure takes place through three-dimensional structures that constitute a method of knowledge and information. The three dimensions are not only the site of what could be defined human architecture, but also constitute its material, with characteristics of balance and volume, of sign and colour.

History of Materials and Techniques

Seminar open to members of the public

The course aims at learning the main historical and contemporary techniques of drawing and painting. The knowledge of the materials and the application means is superimposed on manual skills and practical exercise with all the techniques considered and related materials and means. For each lesson, as well as a theoretical aspect, there will be exercises, tests and implementation of the techniques that have been prepared and covered.
